WWE '12 Ships More Than 2 Million Copies Worldwide

THQ has reported that it has shipped more than 2 million copies of WWE '12 since it was released last November.

This information comes from THQ's recent earnings report for the previous quarter.

Here's THQ's statement on WWE '12:

"WWE '12 shipped more than two million units in the quarter, in line with the expectations shared on the last investor conference call. To date, WWE '12 sell-through is up 29% on like-for-like platforms in North America."

The WWE brand still remains as one of THQ's most successful franchises. WWE '12 was the second most successful game from THQ this past quarter just beaten by Saint's Row: The Third which shipped over 3.6 million copies worldwide.

WWE '12 was more successful than its predecessor mainly because of The Rock's recent return to the WWE and its impressive roster including Brock Lesnar among others.
